High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is the most versatile form of PE. It can be used in a variety of products, from water bottles to hard hats, to our own airports, traffic and crowd control roadblocks. HDPE is the strongest, toughest and most chemically resistant PE. and it is also the least flexible of the four PE mentioned here. These characteristics give HDPE a very long service life and weather resistance. It can tolerate higher temperatures and resist mold, mold, rot and insects. Most importantly, it has the strongest UV resistance and adds special UV stabilizers.
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), the first polyethylene produced in 1933, is still commonly used. LDPE is a weaker polyethylene with lower tensile strength. As the name implies, LDPE has a low density and strong resistance. LDPE is also flexible and is usually used in plastic bags, plastic film and six-pack rings found around soda cans and bottles.
Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a mixed form of LDPE. it is the softest type of polyethylene but has higher tensile strength than LDPE. LLDPE is very strong, the absorbing impact is excellent, will not tear or puncture. LLDPE used in a variety of products, such as toys, pipes, buckets and containers, and of course our road construction and safety guardrail product lines.
